990 Form

A 990 form is an IRS form used as a tax return for organizations exempt from income taxes — namely non-profits.

The 990 form must be filed annually by tax exempt organizations. Some organizations such as churches, however, are exempt from filing.

Some small organizations are allowed to file Form 990-EZ. The information provided on Form 990 is public information.
